The Cause Gallery began in 2008 as a way for its founders, Christy Feaver and Nea Hildebolt, to combine their passion for jewelry making and their desire to give back to the community which inspired them. The concept behind The Cause Gallery is to join art, artists, and meaningful causes with the world. A portion of all Cause Gallery sales are going towards building a community center in Bali which will be open for the use of local youth, especially underprivileged youth and street children. The center will be one focused on wellness, with organized activities including yoga, surfing, music and art lessons. In order to raise funds for The Cause Gallery community center, Christy and Nea have combined their artistic and spiritual senses to create this stunning line of Blessing Necklaces. These Blessing Necklaces were inspired by Brazilian escapulario, which are worn with a meaningful symbolic pendant both in the front and the back to protect you. They have chosen to work with peaceful and spiritually inspiring symbols, including the lotus flower of rejuvenation, the compassionate Buddha, the protective Ganesha, the cleansing Om, the seven chakras, and the four elements. These symbols are intricately carved into sterling silver pendants and suspended by delicate hand-made silver chains, and are all handcrafted in Bali. All of the necklaces bear the Cause Gallery logo, a rising and setting sun and moon over seven ocean waves representing the seven chakras, all contained in a never-ending circle. Also included is the yogic Cause Gallery mantra, “breathe, laugh, love live”. Each necklace comes in a beautiful handmade paper box and includes a small card explaining The Cause Gallery’s message and also the meanings of the symbols on each necklace, making them excellent and thoughtful gifts or great personal adornments.
